New England Swimming Reservations Form (Adobe PDF) TOP TEN BANQUET: All Top Ten Swimmers for both Long Course and Short Course are invited to attend the Top Ten Banquet at Lenzi’s, 810 Merrimack Avenue (Route 110), Dracut, MA on Sunday, October 21, 2007. The cost is $25 per person. Those swimmers who are listed as OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS for either long course or short course are invited to be the guests of New England Swimming. All who plan to attend, INCLUDING OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS, must make reservations by Thursday, October 11, 2007. The doors will open at 10:30 am, and the buffet will be served at 11:30 am, followed by the awards and the speaker, NEIL WALKER, medalist at the Sydney (2000) and Athens (2004) games. IMPORTANT RESERVATION NOTE: If you do not make a reservation by the deadline, please do not leave a message either on the answering machine or email. Those reservations will not be accepted. Please call on Monday, October 15. If there is room, your reservation will be accepted at that time. TOP TEN TIMES: This year the Top Ten Times were compiled using The USA Swimming SWIMS program. Thank you to Rosemarie Meissner and Rick Osterberg for their efforts in this project! SWIMS includes the results of all meets that have been submitted to USA Swimming by New England Swimming or any other LSC. Top Ten Times run from September 1 through August 31. FOR THIS YEAR ONLY: All times in SWIMS were included: sanctioned, approved, and observed. Before next year this policy will be evaluated by the Technical Committee and may change. Since the 8 and under 25-yard events are not included in SWIMS, those times were compiled by hand using New England Swimming calendar meets and other results submitted by teams.OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS are those who have accumulated the most points through their top ten standings. The scoring is as follows--12 points for first place in an event, 9 points for second place, 8 points for third place, down to 1 point for tenth place. There will be no TOP TEN BOOKS this year. The Top Ten Swimmers and their events and times and the Outstanding Swimmers will be posted on the New England web site and can be down loaded if you wish. DIRECTIONS: Lenzi’s (formerly The Mill
