MEET
FORMAT
All events will be
seeded during warm-ups and swum as timed finals. Heat and lane assignments will be posted in both pool areas prior
to each event. Swimmers are to report
directly to their lane when their event is called. Coaches are responsible for ensuring their swimmers are in the
correct heat and lane.
ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS
Entries on computer
disk are appreciated whether using the Hy-Tek program (.cl2 file) or some other
program (.sd3 or sdif). If submitting
entries by email, please also send a paper printout of the entry with the check
and signed cover page. Total entries
for the meet are limited, therefore the meet will be cut by date of receipt.
No swimmer may enter
more than five individual events per day.
Although we hope to accommodate everyone, if the Friday session is
oversubscribed and we are exceeding our time line we will limit the number of
heats of the longer events. Distance
events will be cut by percent of swimmers from each lottery team in the event. 11/12 year olds are eligible for the open
events.
Entries must be
received between Friday October 17 and
Tuesday, November 25. Any entries received before Oct 17 will
be considered to have arrived on the 17th. If the meet is
oversubscribed, a team lottery will be used to determine which teams will
participate in the meet. The lottery
will be between those teams submitting entries on the date that filled the
meet. Email entries will be
accepted. Fees must arrive within four
business days after the email is sent.
United States Postal Service Overnight Mail is the preferred mailing
method. If Overnight Mail is used,
indicate that the package be delivered even if no one is there to sign for
it. If using email, consider zipping
the file. No fax entries will be
accepted. Times achieved in a 25 meter
pool must be multiplied by .9049 to convert to yards.
FEES
$3.50
per individual entry. ($4.00 per individual hand written entry)
Only
one check per team will be accepted, payable to North Country Aquatic Club.
