FORMAT
All events will be
deck seeded during warm-ups and swum as timed finals. Heat and lane assignments will be posted in both pool areas prior
to each event. Swimmers are to report
directly to their lane when their event is called. Coaches are responsible for ensuring their swimmers are in the
correct heat and lane. All 25 yard
events will start from the blocks. 100
yard relay swimmers #2 and #4 will start from the edge of the pool.
ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS
Submit entries by
email or mail using the Hy-Tek program (.cl2 file) or some other program (.sd3
or sdif). If not using one of these
programs, make sure all the entry information including USA Swimming
information is correct and legible. If
submitting entries by email, please also send a paper printout of the entry
with the check and signed cover page.
Total entries for the meet are limited, therefore the meet will be cut
by date of receipt.
No swimmer may enter
more than 5 individual events per
day. 11/12 year olds are eligible for
the open events, in particular the 200’s of strokes and the 200 IM. Swimmers may swim in one medley relay and
one free relay. Any combination of
girls and boys may be used in the relays including all four swimmers of the
same sex. We may need to limit the number
of heats of the Friday night distance events.
In that case individual swimmers will be determined by lottery. A waiting list will be maintained to pull in
additional swimmers if other swimmers scratch before the session.
Entries must be
received between Friday September 19 and
Tuesday, October 21. Any entries received before Sept 19 will
be considered to have arrived on the 19th.
If the meet is oversubscribed, a team lottery will be used to determine
which teams will participate in the meet.
The lottery will be between those teams submitting entries on the date
that filled the meet. Email entries
will be accepted. Fees and the signed
entry cover sheet must arrive within four business days after the email is
sent. United States Postal Service
Overnight Mail is the preferred mailing method. If Overnight Mail is used, indicate that the package be delivered
even if no one is there to sign for it.
No fax entries will be accepted.
Times achieved in a 25 meter pool must be multiplied by .9049 to convert
to yards.
Teams in the meet will
be allowed to submit revised entries with updated times closer to the date of
the meet. Update information and
instructions will be sent to team contacts of the teams in the meet.
FEES
$3.50
per individual entry and $10.00 per relay. ($4.00 per individual hand written
entry)
Only
one check per team will be accepted, payable to North Country Aquatic Club.
