New England Swimming Reservations Form (Adobe PDF) TOP TEN BANQUET: All Top Ten Swimmers for both Long Course and Short Course are invited to attend the Top Ten Banquet at Lenzi’s (formerly The Mill House) 810 Merrimack Avenue (Route 110), Dracut, MA on Sunday, October 26, 2003 The cost is $16 per person. Those swimmers who are listed as OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS for either long or short course and members of the Top Ten Committee are invited to be the guests of New England Swimming. All who plan to attend, INCLUDING OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS, must make reservations by Friday, October 17, 2003 The doors will open at 10:30 am, and the meal will be served at 11:30 am, followed by the awards and the speaker. TOP TEN TIMES: Top Ten Times are compiled using results from New England calendar meets during the past year. This year, in order to have the same calendar as USA Swimming Top 16, there has been a change in the dates included in the short course top ten. In the future, short course top ten will run from September 1 through August 31. For this year only, short course (25 yard) times run from June 1, 2002 through August 31, 2003. Long course (50 meter) times run from September 1, 2002 through August 31, 2003. In addition to the New England sanctioned calendar meets, we also use times from out of district sanctioned meets if the results are sent to the office and if the meet is open to all USA Swimmers. Note that some times received from an out of district meet are for one team only (or one swimmer only) since teams usually send their results, not the complete results. We consider all times from the meet--trials, finals, and swim-offs--except time trials. We also consider lead-off splits from individual events and relays when they are printed in the results. We do not include meets that are closed--restricted to certain teams, league members, etc. For this reason, we do not consider high school meets, "Y" meets, etc. OUTSTANDING SWIMMERS are those who have accumulated the most points through their top ten standings. The scoring is as follows--12 points for first place, 9 points for second place, 8 points for third place, down to 1 point for tenth place. TOP TEN BOOKS will be sent to all New England teams as soon as they are ready. Books will be available for purchase at the banquet for $2.50 for each season or by mail for $3.00 each, including postage. DIRECTIONS: Lenzi’s (formerly The Mill
