ENTRY
REQUIREMENTS
Entries on computer
disk are appreciated whether using the LSA SwimMeet program (.sd3 file) or the
Hy-Tek program (.cl2 file). If
submitting entries on a disk or by email, please also send a paper printout of
the entry with the check. If using
email, the check and a paper copy must arrive within four business days of the
email arrival. Total entries for the
meet are limited, therefore the meet will be cut by date of receipt.
No swimmer may enter
more than 5 individual events per
day. 11/12 year olds are eligible for
the open events, in particular the 200’s of strokes and the 200 IM. Swimmers may swim in one medley relay and
one free relay. Any combination of
girls and boys may be used in the relays including all four swimmers of the
same sex. Although we hope to
accommodate everyone, if specific sessions are oversubscribed and we are
exceeding our time line we will limit the number of heats of longer
events. If the Friday night events need
to be cut, individual swimmers will be determined by lottery. A waiting list will be maintained to pull in
additional swimmers if other swimmers scratch before the session.
Entries must be
received between Friday September 27 and
Tuesday, October 29. Any entries received before Sept 27 will
be considered to have arrived on the 27th.
If the meet is oversubscribed, a team lottery will be used to determine
which teams will participate in the meet.
The lottery will be between those teams submitting entries on the date
that filled the meet. Email entries
will be accepted. Fees must arrive
within four business days after the email is sent. United States Postal Service Overnight Mail is the preferred
mailing method. If Overnight Mail is
used, indicate that the package be delivered even if no one is there to sign
for it. If using email, consider
zipping the file. No fax entries will
be accepted. Times achieved in a 25
meter pool must be multiplied by .9049 to convert to yards.
FEES
$3.50
per individual entry and $10.00 per relay. ($4.00 per individual hand written
entry)
Only
one check per team will be accepted, payable to North Country Aquatic Club.
