FACILITY:
A 25-yard,
six-lane course with non-turbulent lane lines,
The pool has
automatic timing and spectator seating for 200.
A bullpen will
be located in a heated gymnasium.

Saturday,
January 25 & Sunday, January 26, 2003
Morning: 7:15am warm-up 8:15am start
8&U
session 12:45 warm-up 1:30 start
Afternoon 4:30pm warm-up 5:15pm start (Saturday only)
DIVING DURING
WARM-UP IS NOT PERMITTED
EXCEPT IN
SPECIALLY DESIGNATED SPRINT LANES.
ENTRIES: Teams are
encouraged to enter swimmers using the Hy-Tek program (.cl2 or .sd3 file) or on the standard New England
Swimming entry form. All entries must be recieved by January 8, 2003. Entry
forms and email entries will be accepted starting on December 3, 2002.
Checks must arrive 4 days after your e-mail entry is received, for your
entry to be accepted. All disk entries must also include a hard copy of the
entry.

UPDATING
TIMES: Times may be updated until
January 20, 2003. An email with an updated
CL2 or SD3 file will be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY: All swimmers must be 2003 registered athletes
with US wimming. New England Swimmers may register with Mary RiddelI, 20 Cleveland
Road, Needham MA 02192
CUTS:
In case of over
subscription, cuts will be made by date of receipt. If the meet is
oversubscribed at the end of the first day entries are accepted, a lottery will
be used to choose the teams.
OFFICIALS: Any team or individual who wishes to help
officiate at this meet, please contact Bill Geary @ (978)-470-3062 or mail a
list of names and telephone numbers of officials with your entry.
AWARDS:
Distinctive Merrimack Valley Pirates
ribbons will be awarded to the top twelve placers in each event.
SCORING:
Individual: 16-13-12-11-10-9-7-5-4-3-2-1
ADMISSION:
$1.00 per session, Programs
$2.00 per session, Results $10.00 (extra copies)
FORMAT: All
events are timed finals. Swimmers may swim five (5) events per session. No-Time
entries will not be accepted, please use a coaches time.
RULES: 2003
US Swimming rules will govern all competition. The decision of the Meet Referee
is final unless written protest is lodged within 30 minutes of the heat being protested.
REFRESHMENTS: Food and Drinks are available in the gym but
may not be brought into the pool area.
DIRECTIONS: From North: Follow Route 93 to exit
45 (River Road South Lawrence) At the end
of the ramp turn right and the school is on your left in 1/4 mile.
From all other
points: Take 495 or 128 to 93 North. Take exit 45 (River Road South Lawrence).
At the end of the ramp turn left and the school is on your left in 1/4 mile.
