Warm-up Time:

8:AM  Meet: 9:00AM

Facility:

Springfield College Art Linkletter Natatorium.  A six lane 25 yard facility with non-turbulent lane lines and electronic touch pad timing. 

Eligibility:

All contestants must be 2003 registered athletes with United States Swimming.  New England swimmers may register with Mary Riddell, 20 Cleveland Rd., Needham, Ma. 02492.  All coaches on deck must be registered with U.S. Swimming.

Entries: 

All entries should be on a disk that is readable by the Hy-tek Meet Manager program. If entries are e-mailed, they are not considered received until the check is received.   A paper entry is also required.   E-mail entries to: James.galli@verizon.net

No phone entries will be accepted.   Entries must be received by Dec. 27, 2002 (Fri).

 Checks must accompany all entries.  Please make out one club check.

 Entry Fees::

$3.50 for all events.  $4.00 for hand entries.  There is a maximum of 3 events per swimmer.  Deck entries will be allowed if time permits.  Checks should be made out to PVAC, and mailed to:

Rules:

U.S.A. Swimming Rules will be followed.  All events will be timed finals.

Seeding Info: 

All coaches will be given a scratch sheet.  This should be turned back into the Clerk of Course one half hour before the start of each session.  All the events for the session will then be seeded.  The Clerk of Course is located where the computer and timing system are located, next to the door on the side of the pool.  Session two starts with the 1650 yard free.

Cutting the meet:    **The meet will be cut by date of receipt.   Any team cut will be notified by Dec. 29, 2002.

Officials:

Anyone wishing to help officiate would be appreciated.  They should send in their name with the entry.

Special Instructions:

 U.S.A. Swimming rules and warm up policies will be followed.  There will be no diving, except in designated sprint lanes.

Swimmers in the 1000 and the 1650 should have their own timer and counter.

Refreshments: 

 There will be a food concession on the second floor of the College Pool.

Will be available

Awards: 

There will be no awards given out at this meet.  This is a developmental meet to encourage swimmers to  swim longer distances.

 

 ***Due to the possible oversubscription of the meet, New England teams will be given first preference.
