Saint Michael’s College Pool is a 25-yard, six-lane course
with non-turbulent lane lines. The pool
has automatic timing and spectator seating for 250. The meet will be deck seeded with NO
BULLPEN. PLEASE NOTE: All 8 and under 25-yard events will be manually
timed.

DIVING DURING WARM-UPS IS NOT PERMITTED EXCEPT IN SPECIALLY DESIGNATED SPRINT LANES.
Entries must be received between Monday, December 16, 2002 and Friday, December 20, 2002. Entries on computer disk are appreciated whether using the LSA Swim Meet program (sd3 file) or the Hy-Tek program (cl2 file). If submitting entries on a disk or by e-mail, please also send a paper printout of the entry with the entry check. If using e-mail, the paper printout and check must be received within two (2) days of the e-mail arrival.
Total entries for the meet are limited, therefore the meet will be cut by date of receipt. Entries received before December 16, 2002 will be considered received on December 16, 2002. United States Postal Service is the preferred mailing method. If Overnight Mail is used, please indicate that the package can be delivered without anyone there to sign for it.
No fax or phone entries will be accepted.
Times achieved in a 25-meter pool must be multiplied by .9049 to convert to yards.
Each swimmer may enter a maximum of five (5) individual events per day. Although we hope to accommodate everyone, if specific sessions are oversubscribed and we are exceeding our time line, we will limit the number of heats of the longer events.

Make checks payable to Green Mountain Aquatics. Entry fees for electronic entries are $3.50 for individual events. Entry fees for hand entries are $4.00 for individual events.
In the case of over-subscription, a lottery will be conducted to select the teams for the meet. Any non-New England teams will be cut before the lottery is conducted. Notification of such cuts will be made by December 27, 2002. Friday evening events will be cut by time in order to limit that session to four hours or less.

All events are timed finals. Swimmers may enter no more than five (5) events per day. No time entries will be accepted.
All coaches will receive scratch sheets that are to be returned one-half hour before the start of each session. The meet will be seeded based on these scratches. In order to run a timely meet, coaches MUST scratch all swimmers from events in which they will not be swimming.
All swimmers must be 2003 registered athletes with USA Swimming. New England swimmers may register with Mary Riddell, 20 Cleveland Road, Needham, MA 02492. Age eligibility is determined by the age of the swimmer on the first day of the meet and must be shown on the entry form. All coaches on deck must be registered with USA Swimming and have their coach membership cards visible while on deck.

Distinctive Green Mountain Aquatics ribbons will be awarded for individual events, places 4-6. Medals will be awarded for individual places 1-3. In addition, ribbons will be awarded to the winner of each heat.
Admission will be $1.00 per session. Programs will be available for $4.00 for the entire meet.
2003 USA Swimming Rules will govern the competition. The decision of the Meet Referee is final unless a written protest is lodged within 30 minutes of the heat being protested. Disabled swimmer forms are required by USA Swimming and are available from the New England Swimming Office.
All team and individual warm-ups shall be under the direct supervision of the respective swimmers’ coach or individual designated by the referee. Any swimmer participating in the meet without a USA Swimming registered coach shall report to the referee before warm-ups prior to each session.
Diving will be prohibited during warm-ups except in specifically announced one-way sprint lanes.
There will be no shaving allowed anywhere in the swimming venue including the locker rooms, bathrooms, and shower areas.
Glass containers are prohibited in the pool area.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase but will not be permitted in the pool area.
Swimwear concessions will be available.
Take exit 15 onto Route 15 East. At the first stop light; take a left into the Saint Michael’s College main entrance. The Ross Sports Center is located in the left end of the parking lot. Ample parking is available. Enter the Ross Sports Center through the main doors. The pool office is located at the end of the first hallway on the right. The locker rooms are located off the pool deck.
Take exit 16. Take a right off the exit onto Route 2/7 South. Follow into downtown Winooski. At the traffic light downtown, take a left onto Route 15 East. Follow Route 15 to the third traffic light. Take a left at the light into the Saint Michael’s College main entrance. The Ross Sports Center is located in the left end of the parking lot. Ample parking is available. Enter the Ross Sports Center through the main doors. The pool office is located at the end of the first hallway on the right. The locker rooms are located off the pool deck.
PLEASE NOTE: Coaches and parents are responsible for their swimmers at all times. Meet attendants are limited to the use of the pool, bleachers, and locker room areas. Any unsupervised swimmers found in other areas of the building will be removed from the meet. Any damage to the Saint Michael’s College facilities will be charged to those responsible. All swimmers must be supervised by a coach during warm-ups.
