2003 LCM New England Open Championships
Important Meet Updates and Information

Coaches: Please check your entry confirmations. Please email time corrections and/or scratches to Dan Warner (nssc1@aol.com) by Wednesday, July 30, at 12:00 noon. (Please send just an email, and do not send an upated Hy-Tek entry file.)

Important note about relays: A decision has been made to add C and D non-scoring relays for the 400 free and the 400 medley only. No additional 800 relays will be added. The 400 free C and D relays will take place at the conclusion of Friday's morning trials and the 400 medley C and D will be swum with the A and B relays Sunday night. Relay entries are due by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 to Dan Warner (nssc1@aol.com) via email. Dan will confirm that he has received your entries. Please bring your check to the meet for payment and give to Pam Warner.

Please note: There is no parking allowed in the big parking lot adjacent to the pool on Thursday and Friday morning. Brown University will be very strict with parking enforcement.

Relay-only Swimmers Correction: Relay-only swimmers must be aged 12 or older. (Swimmers who have individual qualifying times for the meet and are aged 12 or younger may swim on relays.)

Warm-up Information:

The following teams are in warm-up #1 from 7:00-7:30 a.m. on Thursday and Saturday and will be in warm-up #2 from 7:30-8:00 a.m. on Friday and Sunday.

The following teams are in warm-up #2 from 7:30-8:00 a.m. on Thursday and Saturday and will be in warm-up #1 from 7:00-7:30 a.m. Friday and Sunday:

From 8:00-8:20 the pool is open to anyone with the following criteria in place: lanes 1 and 8 circle swim, lanes 2 and 7 sprints, and lanes 3,4,5,6 for general warm-up. More sprint lanes will be added if needed. If anyone is missing from this list for warm-up please let Pam Warner (pmw2@hotmail.com) know and you will receive a lane assignment. This is a very full meet, with approximately 400-450 swimmers needing to warm-up. Please be cooperative with those sharing lanes.
